Clinic Metrics

The numbers before the narrative.

0%

Diagnosis rate within two visits

Of families referred to Milestone, 93% receive a confirmed diagnosis or clear differential by the end of their second appointment — reducing the months-long diagnostic limbo that families often endure at larger health systems.

Internal outcomes data, 2023–2025

Child Outcomes

After the evaluation.

Diagnosis is a beginning, not an ending. What happens to the children we evaluate?

0%

of evaluated children entered appropriate services within 30 days

A Milestone report isn't just a document — it's a roadmap. Our evaluations include school-ready accommodation recommendations, therapy referrals, and IEP language that educators can act on immediately.

parent satisfaction score

"I finally understood what was happening with my son." That's the most common phrase in our follow-up surveys. Parents report feeling heard, informed, and prepared — not just handed a diagnosis code.

The Process

From referral to report.

Four steps. Clear timeline. No ambiguity about what happens next.

01

Referral & Intake

Day 1–3

Submit a referral online, by phone, or through your pediatrician's EHR. Our intake coordinator reviews the presenting concerns, confirms insurance eligibility, and assigns the appropriate evaluation battery within 24 hours.

02

Evaluation Session

Day 11 (median)

A 2–4 hour structured session with a board-certified developmental pediatrician. We administer standardized instruments across cognitive, language, motor, and adaptive domains — the specific battery depends on the referral question.

03

Scoring & Interpretation

Within 5 business days

Raw scores are converted to standard scores, percentile ranks, and age-equivalent benchmarks. Our clinicians interpret results in the context of the child's full developmental history — not just the numbers in isolation.

04

Feedback & Report

Delivered with the report

A 60-minute feedback session walks parents through every finding. The written report includes diagnosis codes, school-ready accommodation language, therapy referrals, and a plain-language summary parents can share with teachers and caregivers.

Who we evaluate

Families

Parents who've been told "wait and see" by their general pediatrician and are ready for a second opinion grounded in data.

Schools

Psychologists requesting comprehensive evaluations for IEP eligibility, 504 plans, or special education placement decisions.

Agencies

Foster care caseworkers and child welfare agencies who need neurodevelopmental assessments before placement or custody decisions.

Parent & Referrer Voices

What families say after.

"After three years of pediatrician appointments where everyone said he'd "catch up," Milestone gave us an actual answer in two visits. The report was so detailed that his school immediately approved an IEP. I wish we hadn't waited so long."

MD

Margaret D.

Mother of a 7-year-old, referred by school psychologist

"As a foster care caseworker, I've worked with a dozen evaluation clinics. Milestone is the only one that turns around reports in time for placement hearings and writes them in language a judge can actually read. That matters enormously."

JW

Jerome Watkins

Senior Caseworker, County Child Welfare Services

"The feedback session alone was worth everything. Dr. Patel sat with us for an hour and explained every single score. For the first time I understood what my daughter's brain was doing — not just what was "wrong" with her."
